OverviewYour Guide To Proposals

Submitting an exhibition proposal at Centre[4]Arts is a straightforward process, designed to empower artists to reach for greater heights.

Learn how to submit proposals for your chance to have artwork featured in the Members’ Gallery. Follow the step-by-step guide below to ensure your submission meets all the requirements.

01Showcase Your Talent

Centre[4]Arts is currently seeking dynamic and creative exhibitions for our 2026 Members’ Gallery programming. We invite innovative and explorative proposals from members at any stage in their artistic careers.

We support emerging artists across disciplines and encourage artistic experimentation — there are no limits on exhibition subject matter or materials used.

While artists are responsible for producing, curating and installing their own exhibitions, Centre[4]Arts can help with installation assistance such as basic tools, vinyl signage, and promotional materials both online and in print.

All types of artistic media are welcome; however, take caution with works sensitive to light or weather, as the Members’ Gallery has a large street-facing window.

Members can submit a maximum of five works at a time for consideration. All submissions are reviewed by Centre[4]Arts’ programming committee, who curate the gallery based on submissions received and may or may not include all submitted works.

Gallery space is available free of charge as a benefit of membership. Please note that Centre[4]Arts does not pay artist fees for exhibitions in the Members’ Gallery.

02Eligibility & Sales
  • You must have an active Centre[4]Arts membership in good standing.
  • All submitted works must be original and presentation-ready.
  • Centre[4]Arts staff are not eligible to submit proposals.
Gallery Sales

Exhibited artworks may be listed for sale if the artist chooses. Centre[4]Arts facilitates the transactions, and any unsold works are returned to the original artist(s).
