Centre[4]Arts is proud to offer a welcoming and professional studio environment where artists of all backgrounds can create, experiment, and thrive together. To ensure a productive and equitable experience, the following guidelines apply to all members, regardless of studio space or membership tier.
First Things First
Access to Centre[4]Arts’ four studio facilities is reserved for active members in good standing. To maintain uninterrupted access to the studios and equipment, annual membership fees must be paid by or before your renewal due date each year.
Members have access to the studios during gallery hours:
Wednesday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Key Holder Members and Commercial Key Holder Members have access to the studios anytime, day or night:
24 hours per day, 7 days per week
Studio orientations are always required in advance of studio access.
Only members who have completed a studio-specific orientation may enter that studio and use any of its equipment for the health and safety of all involved.
At least one studio orientation is required to use a studio space once you begin your membership. Over time, you may decide to have more than one orientation if you wish to begin using a second, third or fourth studio space as well.
All members are expected to work independently after their studio orientation is complete.
Feel you’d like some more guidance? Hire one of our studio technicians at a reduced rate for one-on-one assistance when you book studio time – they can help shorten your learning curve on all sorts of things from tech support to best practices for equipment use.
Please contact the appropriate department to book your studio orientation(s):
For the Traditional Printmaking Studio or Screen Printing Studio, email our Studio Manager at print@centre4arts.com to book.
For the Digital Printing Studio or Media Arts Studio, email our Digital Studio Manager at digital@centre4arts.com to book.
You’ll receive a reply from us within 1-2 business days with available dates to confirm your orientation booking and provide you with the next steps.
For members wanting to upgrade their membership, a Key Holder Orientation and sign-off by a Studio Manager is required.
Access to studios is available on a pre-booked basis. Members can reserve their desired times and equipment, purchase studio passes, and book tech assistance in advance through Centre[4]Arts’ online booking portal.
All technician service fees and studio pass fees are to be paid in full at the time of your booking. This ensures fair access to resources and helps us to maintain our facilities for all users.
Missed bookings or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a fee of $10.00.
Start your online booking by selecting your preferred studio, equipment, date and time.
Optional - reserve 1:1 time with a studio technician for help with specific projects.
