Tapestry Weaving

Learn and develop tapestry techniques such as warping the loom, developing tassels, and incorporating unique materials into your piece. During this 3-hour course, participants will create a small woven textile piece to take home. Suitable for beginners and more experienced textile artists.

About The Instructor:

Emma Enright is a textile artist and designer from Dundas, Ontario. Her current series of work investigates the materiality of textiles with a specific emphasis on weaving. Emma has received her Bachelor of Design, with a major in textiles from Ontario College of Art and Design University and continues to exhibit her work. Emma was the 2022 Centre[3] Emerging artist-in-residence.
