Adobe Illustrator Creative Cloud Essentials Training
This workshop offers an introduction to the basic features of Adobe Illustrator Creative Cloud software. Learn how to navigate the interface and use the tools in Illustrator to create vector illustrations with line art, shapes and type.
Students will be shown how to create new documents, size and arrange artboards, import sketches, trace sketches with the line, shape and type tools, transform and colour objects, organize layers and groups, and export finalized imagery for web and print.

About The Instructor:
Dylan Darwin is a Hamilton-based Illustrator and Designer. He is a graduate of the Bachelor of Illustration and Computer Animation programs at Sheridan College. He currently works as a designer and layout artist at Pipeline Studios, where he uses Illustrator to create 2D assets and backgrounds for an animated children’s Youtube series. He continues to use Illustrator in his freelance graphic design career, designing logos and various printable materials. Outside of work, Dylan enjoys drawing, painting and sculpting.
