Introduction to Engraving

This beginner’s workshop will introduce students to traditional copper plate intaglio engraving. Participants will be guided through the various tools and techniques of the process, from preparing your plate to printing your image. No prior experience necessary!

About The Instructor:

Mark Laurin is an artist and printmaker originally from Montreal. He holds a BFA in Print Media from Concordia University and an MFA from Indiana University. His work focuses on line as a tool with which we prescribe meaning to our world.
